Fundraiser Update: Helping Survivors of Typhoon Haiyan

Thank you everyone!

 The donation we collected from our December Clothing Drive went to the feeding program that was conducted by the Department of Education in Leyte, Philippines. With the funds, 1,400 elementary school children were fed for 30 days. The donation also helped another community in Capiz, Philippines by providing Luci Lights to 720 families.

Philippines still need our help. Our next clothing drive is scheduled for June 7. We are donating the proceeds to Advancement for Rural Kids, Inc to help feed and get kids to school and rebuild their classrooms. #empower #ARK #gottasendhelp

All donations collected by GreenDrop are sold by the charities to a network of thrift stores, including 2nd Ave Value Stores and Village Thrift Stores. There, donations are carefully sorted and given a second life with a new owner, or are r esponsibly recycled. 85% of dollars generated from clothing donations will be donated to American Red Cross.
